my recent Superdrug/Boots finds!

I love Superdrug and Boots. I could stay in there for hours. Recently, I've found some really lovely things there. I did a little review of some of these products on my 'summer essentials' blog, if you're interested:)

I will try to add in some prices, if I can remember how much they cost! I will also put if I found it in Superdrug or Boots but they do sell similar things anyway.

1- Cranberry&Pomegranate body butter.
This is a lovely body butter. It smells so lovely, which is always a bonus! It always leaves my skin feeling moisturised and silky smooth. The formula isn't greasy and it is easily absorbed.
(Superdrug- £2.99)

2- Loreal Paris studio matt&messy shine-free salt spray.
I was looking for a salt spray for a while until my mum found this on offer for around £1.00(bargain!)
I really like this, it has a very similar out come as the Toni&Guy salt spray. It gives really textured hair and a really lovely beachy wave with a shine-free finish. It isn't greasy at all, either.
(Superdrug)

3-  Toni&Guy
- Toni&Guy- heat protection mist
as far as heat protecting goes, this is really good. It really protects your hair and leaves you with a soft, smooth finish.
(Boots- £2.99)
- Toni&Guy- salt spray (went more into detail about this on my blog about summer essentials:))
(Boots- £2.99)

4- Barry M gelly hi- shine nail paint. (again mentioned in more detail on summer essentials)
(Boots- £2.99)

5- Rimmel London apocalips lip lacquers (in 501 stellar)
I absolutely love this! It is such a lovely bright pinkish, coral. It adds a really nice pop of colour even if you wear it in winter or summer- either way it still looks amazing.
It applies like a lip gloss and sets like a lipstick. It stays on all day and still has a glossy finish. Even when it starts to rub off, it still keeps a pretty tint to your lips.
Love it!
(Superdrug/Boots- £5.99)

6- Olay gentle foaming face wash
I mainly only picked this up because it was the cheapest one I could see, however, I am so glad I did.
I felt so refreshed and my face felt lovely and clean after using this. It smells really nice and the smell isn't at all over powering. My face felt a lot smoother after using this. I am definitely going to buy it again.
(Superdrug- £2.99)

7- Kate moss lipstick (03)
I always find that nude lipsticks suit my skin tone quite a bit more than a red or a bright pink. This lipstick colour is perfect. It looks lovely on a tan but I think it would also suit paler skin too. The lipstick feels really moisturising when you apply it and it has a nice, glossy finish.
(Superdrug/Boots- £5.49)

8- Herbal essences hair masque.
I've never really used herbal essences products before, but recently I discovered the raspberry split end hair masque in Boots. Again, it was on some sort of an offer. I was looking for a hair masque because my hair has felt quite dry so it just needed a bit of pampering. My hair is also ombre which does dry out your hair and the sun doesn't really help. This hair masque is amazing! its a perfect summer smell. I leave it on for around 5-10 minutes and my hair feels so soft afterwards.
(Superdrug- £1.87)

9- Aussie 'take the heat' 3 minute miracle shampoo&conditioner.
They have been so lovely this summer. The heat has really dried out my hair, and this has been my go to shampoo and conditioner. You use the shampoo as normal and then leave the conditioner on for 3 minutes(hence the name) it leaves your hair feeling sooo soft! Aussie products always smell really good, too!
(Superdrug- shampoo £4.49
Conditioner £4.49)

10- Garnier body intensive 7 days- I did a whole blog post on this! if you have time, please do check it out:)
(Boots- £3.32)

11- Botanics gentle cleansing cream
I saw this on offer for around £2 and I thought id just have try it out and see how I get on.
It isn't my favourite cleanser, and, to be honest I haven't really felt that my skin has been much different after using it. Although, it is refreshing. I probably wont pick it up again but that doesn't mean that it is a bad product.

my summer essentials!

Since it has been incredibly hot in England lately, I decided to show what my summer essentials have been and what ive really been enjoying/using this summer!

                              My top six summer essentials.

Number 1- The body shop mango butter.
This body butter is incredible. In February I was lusting after the big tub but it cost so much. I bought one of the sample versions and it took me no time at all to finish it. Luckily, the big tubs were on offer recently and I picked it up. It is a perfect summer scent and it lasts all day. The smell lingers and you don't need to top it off with a fragrance throughout the day. The formula is absolutely great and after using this my skin feels so hydrated and soft. I don't know if this is just me, but I find that this product brings out your tan and works as an 'after sun' and leaves a lovely sheen. I am in love with it!

Number 2-  The Barry M gelly nail polishes.
These nail polishes are amazing! My two favourite colours are 'blueberry' and 'grapefruit' they are perfect summer colours. The polish sets so shiny and they stay put for at least a week. I'm so bad at picking at nail polishes but these are so hard to chip (bonus). I recommend them highly:)

Number 3- Toni and guy salt spray.
I've been loving this salt spray. You just spray this in your hair and it looks so nice afterwards. It is nice for the days where you don't want to put too much heat on your hair because it really gives you lovely, beachy waves. My hair has so much texture after using this. I am definitely going to get this again.

Number 4- Herbal essences hair masque.

Number 5- floaty shorts!
It has been way too hot here recently to wear trousers, leggings etc.
I am very insecure about my legs and I sometimes steer away from shorts. I have found that floaty shorts are flattering on my legs. They are very light and keep you cool through-out the day.

Number 6- the original source shower gel
I bought this in the scent 'vanilla milk and raspberry' and oh my, it is the nicest smell ever. I cant really smell the raspberry, in my opinion it smells more like strawberries and cream. But none the less, it is amazing. I've found that the smell sticks and I kind of find myself smelling my arms haha. If you see it any where, smell it, its amazing. I love taking showers because of it. No doubt picking it up again.

garnier body- intensive 7 days.

hello, everyone!
I am new to the whole 'blogging' thing therefore I apologise for the simplicity. However, I shall give it a go!

I have been enjoying 'Garnier body intensive 7 days' soo much these past few weeks, and I thought it would just post my little review of it.
I picked this product up simply because I saw that there was an offer on for it in Superdrug (would just like to add that Superdrug is a drugstore that sells make-up, skin care etc).  This product pulled me in because of the 'fast drying' promise. One of my biggest hates is when your body cream takes forever to sink in, you end up having to avoid anything you may stick to.

I do not regret buying this product, I genuinely love it. I put this on, and in no time at all it has sunken into my skin. I have noticed that my skin has felt so much softer after using this. I personally love the almond oil sent, it is so fresh smelling. The cream is very light, too.

In fact, my mum loved it too. We loved the smaller one so much that recently when we saw an offer in Boots (another drugstore)for a bigger version, we didn't hesitate to pick it up! you get a huge amount of it and it will keep you going for ages and ages. They didn't actually have the almond scent in the bigger version but they did have 'aloe vera' which is equally as nice and refreshing.

I cant recommend this product highly enough! you won't regret it. I will try my hardest to upload some pictures on here but i'm no computer pro and I cannot promise anything.

Much love,
Grace x
